Mercedes 5 cylinder diesel to 700R4

Now Mercedes diesel lovers can install a 2.8 style 700R4 transmission behind your engine. Your choice of stall speeds. There are many advantages to using this trans over the stock Mercedes transmission. A low first gear ratio and a torque converter with torque multiplication and lock-up really make the diesel perform. 

Locally (Minnesota) engineered and manufactured adapter kit.

There is NO modifications to either the block or the transmission case, and is easily bolted on at home. The kit utilizes the stock Mercedes flywheel so there is no engine balancing concerns.

The kit consists of the following items:

1. 1 inch thick aluminum adapter plate       
2. Bolt set
3. Mini-high torque starter
4. Custom torque converter

All machined parts are American made.  The cost is $925.00
